Father's Day and Arm Parties

Wow, it's been about a week since I last posted! I guess I've been busy with summer stuff like Father's Day, hanging out with friends, swimming and having fun with my family, and reading for a school assignment. But I'm here now! This outfit is what I wore last week for Father's Day. It's not very fashion forward but it's simple, colorful, and pretty.

Check out all those bracelets! Inspired by The Man Repeller's arm parties (aka stacking multiple bracelets onto one's arms), I decided to do the trend myself!

DRESS: Old Navy
VEST/CARDIGAN: .....I don't remember...? sorry!
SANDALS: Rack Room Shoes

Here is a step-by step on how to recreate my version of an "arm party":

1. GIANT CUFFS: You need big cuff bracelets! They can be simple or extravagant.

2. TINY THINGS: Add little stringy bracelets and diamond chains. Little things with charms are always great.

3. TEXTURE: Bangles, hand-made (DIY) denim cuff bangles, etc.

4. WATCHES: You can't wear just one! Stack 'em up!!!

5. DECIDING WHERE IT ALL GOES: Space everything out randomly and mix it up. -left arm, right arm

NOTE: adding hand-made (DIY) jewelry, like friendship bracelets and braided twine, always make nice additions to the party.
