All you need is a pair of flats (without bows, chains, beads, etc.), duct tape or painter's tape, and some gold or silver metallic spray paint.
To Do:
1. Cut the duct tape or painter's tape into skinny strips, wide enough to cover the soles of the shoe and the heel so that you don't spray paint the rubber sole, which should be kept its natural color. This way you will only get paint on the tip and back of the ballet flat.
2. Spray the spray paint onto the tips and backs of your ballet flats.
Done!
