This photo, blasted with bright colored nail polish, swimwear, bracelets, and a rainbow towel, inspired me to make some thread-wrapped bracelets of my own. And because it's Spring and the time for friendship bracelets galore is near, I decided to make a few friendship bracelets while I was at it.

Supplies:
-embroidery thread
-chain (inspired by THIS DIY)
-headbands and bangles
-scissors
-glue
To Make Thread Wrapped Accessories:
1. Tie your first color to one end of your headband, or at any area of your bangle.
2. Neatly wrap the thread around your accessory until you are ready to switch to the next color. When ready, tie a knot with the end of your first color to the end of your second color. Continue wrapping.
3. Make sure that right after connecting two colors, that you wrap with the new color around the end pieces of the first and second (in use) color, so that they are tucked under all wraps for a smooth side.
4. Continue steps 2 and 3 all the way around your accessory. You can wrap the colors to make a symmetrical pattern like I did, or you can just wrap random colors without a set pattern. When finished, tie a few knots with the end of the last color you used. Apply a dot of glue and smudge with your finger to make sure the loose ends don't untie. Now show off your bright, refashioned accessories!
