The Shopping Bag

Seen on the runway last year were these amazing shopping bag/purses by Jil Sander. Who thought shopping bags would ever become a fad? Well, with their translucent, solid, or multiple colored choices, these bags have easily became a must-have. Besides sticking your groceries in them, you can fit just about anything inside. These bags are laid-back and simple, and just by using different fabrics it can easily change it's purpose. Get a water-proof fabric and take it to the beach. Get a solid colored fabric and use it as an everyday handbag. And wouldn't this be such a great DIY idea? So easy to make! As soon as I get time and some fabric I will be making this for my trip to the beach this summer. I hope this inspires you to DIY!
